Welcome Guest! / HELP with Registration Confirmation Email
« Last post by pchip on June 19, 2012, 09:14:04 AM »
I've had several emails from folks asking me about their registration approval because they did not receive a confirmation email.  I'm not sure why, but sometimes our new members don't get this email in their box.  Might be due to spam filtering.

Almost all the time new registrations are reviewed and approved within 24 to 48 hours of you filling out the registration form.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you have registered on our site and you have not received a confirmation email from me within a day or two, please revisit the forums and try to log in.  It very well could be that you have been approved but your email message just didn't go through.

Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause you.

We have a pre-approval process that helps to keep the rif-raf out of the house.  On the very, very rare occasion we get a snotty little spammer make their way through our member pre-approval process, it sure doesn't take long to get rid of them.  We really do hate spam! So our members and site monitors keep our house clean of it!

Please note - this does cause a slight delay in you being able to access our site.  And if you aren't clear in your intentions on the way in the door, there's a chance your registration will be denied accidentally.  So if you really are a tangler, doodler, line-weaving, drawing enthusiasts and you get no approval from your registration within 48 hours, please drop us an email and let us know the email you used to register.  We'll look to see if we mistakenly took the address to be one of a spammer. Real guests with honest intentions, you can email me at:  cindyangiel[at]gmail[dot]com.

One more thing I thought you might like to know about our little community.  It IS NOT covered with ads.  As a matter of fact you'll find very few pieces of commercialism on the inside.

Only our sponsors are allowed to post any "for sale" adverts and they are ALWAYS related to repeat pattern art.  You won't find a single "google-ad" in the house! No flashy banner ads to disrupt your vision either.  We want to make sure there's no distraction from the really fun stuff.... our members beautiful art! :D

Looking forward to seeing you on the inside!

We also have a large collection of tutorials and tips shared by our members.  If you are looking to grow and strengthen your repeat pattern art skills and interest - then be sure to check out our Tutorials & Tips forums.  This resource library has grown so large that here again we have every training item indexed to help you quickly find the learning opportunities that fit your interests.

Here's a small sampling of what sort of training our members have access to:

We have a handy Quick Links menu on the left side of our community where you can quickly and easily access most every discussion forum and our gallery albums too.

Here's a what our members find behind each quick link:

We have a full listing of resources for our members.  One of the most often used (and the favorite place to visit) for everyone is our pattern library.  We have one of the largest collection of patterns on the internet even more than the popular tanglepatterns web site!  We have over 500 patterns and there are over 95 pattern designers represented!  You can easily sort through patterns using our alphabetical index or the handy 'by designer' index in our forums.  We offer even more ways to sort and display patterns from inside our pattern gallery where you can also see a photo clip of every pattern! :)

Another popular resource for our members is the Starter Template Library and photo gallery.  If you like to jump-start your projects with a pre-drawn outline, or string - then you'll want to be sure to pop in and download the many FREE templates we have to share.  And if you are a mandala/zendala fanatic then you're going to love what you find inside this resource library even more!

Unlike many other websites, we do not restrict our members from sharing links to other resources either.  Our Links Library offers quick access to not just members blogs, but also to more pattern libraries, and resources for art supplies, creative ideas, and tangling projects far beyond what we already have going on inside our community.  After all, we know we are not the only site online to offer super great things for tanglers, doodlers, and line-weaving enthusiasts.  There's room for everyone in the LineWeaving.com forums!

Hello and Welcome to the
Line Weaving Community Forums

This is a chatty little online community for Line Weavers, Tanglers, Doodlers, and Enthusiasts of Repeat Pattern Art Designs.

As a guest of the forums you have an opportunity to see a small taste of the great resources we have inside our community. After you take a glance through the samplings, I hope you'll decide to come on inside and share in the fun.

We opened our FREE community in November of 2011 and within the first 5 months we had over 400 members join the family!  It's a great place to meet fellow artists and crafters who enjoy a variety of pen-and-ink creations using repetitive patterns.

We have tips and tutorials for beginners, one of the largest pattern libraries online, an art gallery full of artful projects from our members, creative inspiration and of course a fair amount of fun shared by all.

As you wander around our webpages, remember that this is a family-friendly place, so please play nicely.

If you have any questions or concerns just leave a message in the forums or send me an email at cindyangiel[at]gmail[dot]com.

Have fun looking around at our guests offerings and I look forward to seeing you on the inside soon!
